Anytune remembers all of your settings including tempo, pitch, gain, pan, EQ, and Reframe for each song. Your annotations including marks, loops, notes and lyrics are also included in Anytune’s "song data" or Configuration.
You can save your Config (song data), for all or a single song, to the | Anytune Cloud or a file (<backup>.atcfg) and share it across your devices or with your friends.
Anytune does NOT save your song audio files to iCloud, it only saves the Config.
Syncing Music: Apple provides two ways to sync your Music Library across your devices:
- Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music
- Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod using your computer (USB, WiFi)
You can also Import files directly into Anytune. See Sharing songs across devices.
Sharing works like a backup and restore. First you backup your Config, then you restore the Config to "matching'" songs on your same or different device.
- The song's Title, Artist and Album must match the Config exactly.
- The song's audio file must be available to Anytune to restore its Config.
Anytune will look for a match in your device's Music Library and at imported songs.
The Configs are saved to and restored from the Anytune Cloud. Automatic backups are saved when you quit/background Anytune and before you delete a file. Anytune keeps the last two backups and the last hour, day, week and month.
Stay Synced: Sync (and download) the same songs to all your devices and restore the Config on your target device:
1. Tap
2. Choose <latest-backup>
3. Restore All.
If you have imported songs directly through Record, Dropbox or Open-In, you will need to export them from the source Anytune to save them to target Anytune.
See Transfer (restore) song data to a new device to copy everything, songs and config, to your new device.
