Mostly quite helpful. However, if I import configurations from the iCloud involving hundred of files and I get a message "Anytune Config Import Results", say "Songs: 419 updated, 7 failed", where is the log to learn about which 7 songs the import failed? It would be good if above page gives some hints on that point.
Songs will fail to restore if a matching song is not available to Anytune. T
Anytune will look for a match in your device's Music Library and at imported songs.
The error message does not tell you which files failed to restore but this information is available by examining the Config file.
When you select a config backup to will see a count of the restorable files: (Example: All Tunes 120/122). Navigate to a playlist to see an availability state for each song; 🟢 "Imported", 🟡 "Importable", or 🔴 "Not Found". Songs that are 🔴 "Not Found" will fail to restore. Add these to your music device's library or import them directly to Anytune and Restore.
See Sharing and syncing song data.
Thanks for some help. However, I am talking about the case where I import and restore a configuration of all files from the iCloud, i.e. a backup from my music iPad. From the 319 songs I do not know from which playlist the failed songs may be missing. All way too complex to just search by trial and error. And the "playlist" "All Tunes" does not show those colour symbols. And there exists no Config file as I have imported from the iCloud. So please, be more specific to this case and give me some clue how I can figure out efficiently which 7 songs are missing out of the 319. Can I perhaps download from the iCloud a Config file? Perhaps I am overlooking something, but I see no mechanism to doing that.
1. Open the Anytune Cloud backups
2. Select the backup file you restored withfailures.
3. Find missing songs in a playlist (i.e. All Tunes or great Solos)
4. Open the Playlist and look for Not Found (also missing a check circle)
These are the songs that failed to restore. Import the matching audio files into Anytune or add them to your Music Library.
