- Reset your device
If the problem persists please collect all the information you can and Report the problem.
Warning: Deleting/uninstalling Anytune will delete all Anytune data and all songs that were explicitly imported into Anytune through Record, Open-In, Dropbox, Email, or WiFi. Your data is saved to iCloud and can be restored if Anytune is re-installed and the songs are available. Your imported songs will be lost unless you can perform a restore from a system backup.
Restart Anytune
Sometimes things go down the wrong path and restarting cleans things up:
- On an iPhone X or later or an iPad with iOS 12, from the Home screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause slightly in the middle of the screen.
On an iPhone 8 or earlier, double-click the Home button to show your most recently used apps - Swipe right or left to find the app that you want to close.
- Swipe up on the app's preview to close the app.
See How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Restore in-app purchases
If features you paid for stop working, restoring purchases may help.
To restore in-app purchases:
Open Anytune, Tap the Anytune Store , scroll to the bottom, Tap Restore Purchases...
See Restore previous purchases (iOS).
Update Anytune
Please ensure you are using the latest versions of Anytune and iOS.
- Open the App Store and tap Updates. If updates are available, tap Update All.
- Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to the latest version of iOS.
Disconnect audio devices / Stop other audio apps
The audio system is complex and has many shared resources. Sometimes apps don't function correctly together. Disconnecting or stopping these disturbances will help us isolate the cause of the problem.
Restart your device
Did you turn it off and turn it back on? With many apps sharing resources, sometimes a hard restart will resolve conflicts. It should not be required, but sometimes it is a quick fix.
See Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or
- Open Settings app > Tap General (scroll down) > Tap Shut Down
Learn what to do if your iOS device is frozen or won't turn on.
Reset your device
Apple has recommended Resetting All Settings when the device's media library was not accessible. This is a drastic measure that clears everything that you have set in the Settings app. You will need to rejoin all WiFi networks again, re-enter passwords, set all of your privacy settings, reset notifications, and so on after the reset is complete.
- Open the Settings app
- Tap General > Reset
- Tap Reset All Settings
Note: All settings will be cleared and need to reapplied
If the problem persists please collect all the information you can and Report the problem.
Offload Anytune
You can Offload Anytune to free up the storage used for the app, but keep the data (including settings, marks, notes and lyrics) and imported songs. You lose Anytune's data when deleting Anytune.
- Open Apple's Settings app
- Go to General > iPhone Storage > Anytune
- Tap "Offload App"
Reinstalling the app will restore access to your data. Once offloaded the "Offload App" button becomes a "Reinstall App" button. You can also Tap the Anytune icon on the home screen which will contain the download icon in the title.
