Recordings are stored as audio files in Anytune. These files will be lost if Anytune is deleted. Please export these files to a backup location. See Export - Create a new version of a song.
Recordings are limited by your device's storage space. See How to check the storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
iOS devices have several built in microphones which will be used by default. You can also use the microphone on a headset or any other external microphone plugged into the 3.5mm mini jack or lighting port. There are many adaptors that will allow you to connect a 1/4" (Guitar) cable into your device. You will need a a TRRS cable to connect directly from a mini-out of another device like a keyboard.
Note: Your input is set to the last input device connected. If you connect headphones with a microphone after you have connected an input device adaptor, the headphoned microphone will be used for input instead of your adaptor.
Warning: If you cancel without saving, the recording will be lost. You will be prompted to verify that you want to discard the current recording.
