There are a number of ways to launch Anytune on your Mac.
Application folder
You can launch Anytune directly from the Applications folder:
- Double Click on
Anytune.app
Launchpad
You can use Launchpad.
- Click on
the Launchpad in your dock.
- Search for Anytune
- Double Click on
Anytune.app

Mac App Store
You can launch Anytune from the Mac App Store.
- Click the Open button when view Anytune in the Mac App Store
If this doesn't work please try launching it directly from the Applications folder.
Create an Anytune shortcut:
To add the Anytune icon to your Dock:
- Launch Anytune
- Right-click on the Anytune icon
in the Dock
- Choose > Options > Keep in Dock
To create an Alias and place it anywhere you like including your Desktop:
- Open Finder and navigate to the Applications folder
- Right-click on "Anytune.app" and choose Make Alias
- Drag "Anytune.app alias" to any folder you like
Initial launch
Anytune uses the "iTunes Music Library.xml" file created by iTunes to determine the location of songs in your iTunes music library and needs to be granted permission to folders contains songs.
Allow access to iTunes library information
Verify “Share iTunes Library XML with other applications” is enabled:
- Quit Anytune.
- Open iTunes.
- From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen, choose iTunes > Preferences.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Enable "Share iTunes Library XML with other applications."
- Start Anytune

Allow access to folders
The first time you launch Anytune you will be asked to Give Anytune access to your media files. You do this by clicking the Allow button in the dialogue.
Grant Anytune access to new folders or files when the dialogue appears.
Choose the folder that contains all your music so you do not have to allow every folder.
