You can record yourself, your band, your student and slow the recording down to hear nuances in the performance and correct errors before they become ingrained.

Recordings are stored as audio files in Anytune. These files will be lost if Anytune is deleted. Please export these files to a backup location. See Export - Create a new version of a song.

Recordings are limited by your device's storage space. See How to check the storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Songs explicitly imported into Anytune are saved in Anytune's private data and included in your device's system backup.  These songs are not stored in your device's music library.  You can also Export these files to keep a copy elsewhere.

Backing up your data has more details.

Warning: Deleting/uninstalling Anytune will delete  all Anytune data and all songs that were explicitly imported into Anytune through Record, Open-In, Dropbox, Email, or WiFi.  Your data is saved to iCloud and can be restored if Anytune is re-installed and the songs are available.

Your imported songs will be lost unless you can perform a restore from a system backup.
