Anytune can play Apple Music songs!
When playing a song through Apple Music, Anytune cannot directly access and process the data. Anytune processes the data stream as it passes through which limits Anytune's powers.
Anytune can play most Apple Music songs with some limitations.
You will be able to apply time-stretching (adjust the tempo), set marks and loop sections.
The waveform will not be accurate, pitch-shifting, and analysis is not available.
Some functions will be disabled.
To access the full power of Anytune please acquire audio files that are not DRM protected and place them physically on your device.
We will add additional capabilities as soon as we can.
Songs ripped from a CD or purchased through iTunes, Amazon, Google, etc. are not protected. Move these files to your Android device and they will be available to Anytune.
Songs streamed through an Apple Music subscriptions are protected limiting Anytune's functionality. We are working to increase the capabilities with streamed music.
Please note:
There may bugs and missing functionality. Your help identifying bugs and offering suggestions is appreciated. If you encounter problems playing Apple Music songs please report them to us.
We are enhancing error handling and notifications. You may see an error notification message when a song plays, or are offered to "Try again" if the song did not play. Trying again will usually succeed.
If Anytune starts behaving strangely, becomes unresponsive, or cannot play a song:
- Play a different song first, to reconnect
- Restart Anytune
- Sign out and back in to Apple Music within Anytune
- Restart your device.
