Remote Control - not working

I purchased an iRig BlueBoard as recommended by AnyTune to have remote control while performing and am running it MIDI over Bluetooth mode 2 on my MacBook Pro.

I set switches as follows:

A = 20, previous track.  [when depressed it moves one track and then when released moves another]  this is no good

B = 21, next track,  [when depressed it moves one track and then when released moves another]  this is no good

C = 22, Start or Pause,  [This requires the switch to be continually depressed to play - when the switch is released the playback stops]

D = 23, Start of Song.  This works.... least important

Basically I would like to be able to start stop Songs and also to be able to cycle through them
