Keyboard Shortcut or Midi CC message for the Pan control

Not sure why it's not already possible as everything else seems to have a keyboard shortcut or midi message for control except for the pan control, unless I'm missing something? So as a feature request, I'd like to see, preferably a midi CC message for the pan control but I could make a keyboard shortcut work if I had to. Thank you.

  No, we have not implemented keyboard shortcuts or a MIDI action for the Pan/Balance position.

  I have opened a feature request with the following specifications:

  Keyboard shortcuts

  • Pan/Balance Left:    (   → Shift+9
  • Pan/Balance Right:  )  → Shift+0

  MIDI

  • Pan Position: CC 10, value 0–127

  Keyboard behavior

  • Each key press adjusts the pan position by 0.05.
  • The value is clamped to the range -1.0 to +1.0.
  • Holding the key repeats the action using the operating system’s key-repeat rate.

  MIDI behavior

  • CC 10 controls the absolute Pan/Balance position:
    • 0 = Full Left (-1.0)
    • 64 = Center (0.0)
    • 127 = Full Right (+1.0)

  The Balance, Balance (Mono), and Pan mode settings determine how the position is applied and are not changed by the Pan/Balance position value itself.
