Extend the Labels to al least 3 characters
Hi Anytune Team,
it would be really great if the Short Lables are a little bit longer. 2 characters are really short ;-)
Alternatively allow that users can decide to display full marker names or short labels.

How many characters do you need? Three would allow including Am7 and five would include almost everything like else like Cmaj7, but not crazily long chords like a Cmaj7add13(#11)/E. Five is probably the sweet spot but those mark handles are getting pretty wide. > What do you think?
You can adjust when the full mark label is displayed as a popup.
- Open Anytune Settings and choose Audiomark Options
- Enable Display Audiomarks ~ This will display the mark label as the playhead passes the mark.
- Adjust Lead-In and Lead-Out which is the number of seconds the mark label is displayed before (Lead-In) and after (Lead-Out) the playhead passes the mark.
You can set the Lead-Out to Always so that it remains displayed until the next mark.

many thanks for your attention. I mainly use audiomarks to identify Chorus, Verse, Interlude, Bridge, etc.
Then I use this marks to quickly set loop marks. Sometimes I use chords and also save some loopmarks.
I wood like to use e.g. for "Chorus 1" short Label "Ch1" ... or "IL1" or "BR1" etc. ....
For me a length of at least 3 would be OK, but your are right a length of 5 would be a sweet spot, also for chords. For users which like 2 characters, can still use them and the length (horizontal size) of the mark flag should be dynamically adapted. Maybe an option to set the font size would be great.What I just find out when checking the Audiommark Settings you suggested:
When I add a "custom label" I already can use longer short labels. See attached screen shots.
So I already can use longer short labels! The only thing what should be added is the dynamically size adaption of the mark flags.Many thanks for your great support !

Hi Stefan, My apologies. I assumed you were on an mobile device where there is a hard limit of two.
I will investigate raising the limit to 5 on IOS and handling long short labels on Mac. A consistent limit across devices is advantageous, like 5. :) Currently on Mac short labels are not limited and the extra characters are simply not displayed after wrapping in the mark handle. Since we agreed 5 is great for chords. I will request the mark label to widen to display a wide chord such as "G#maj" but not unlimited. I will also add a restriction to the number of characters in Mac to a reasonable amount of ten.

What about an option to display the "custom label" (long) on the bottom of the marker, on the zoomed view —at least on Mac? Or maybe on the middle, right over the horizontal line, so that such labels don't get overlapped by the A/B markers.
That way we could leave the "short labels" the way they are —though displaying at least 3 chars, in case the label is too long, might also be a good idea.0 -
The plan is to emulate the implementation on Android where the Long label is sticky and always displayed while the playhead is in that section.
