Does this thing actually transcribe at all? I don’t mean to slow it down, but I mean, does it actually produce musical notation and or tablature?

I went ahead and paid for the dinner. I guess most featured packages and I have yet to figure out how the transcription function works. I’m beginning to wonder if I misunderstood or define transcription is something other than the promoters. Please respond.

  Actually no, Anytune is not an automated transcription tool.

  Transcribe Mode helps you easily work through a song phrase by phrase or note by note.

  A typical transcription session, allows you to work through small sections:

  1. Tap  Play to hear a couple notes and then pause .
  2. Repeat the Play / Pause operation until you can play the note/chord, or record it.
  3. Tap  Move Start Position (Skip) to move the start position past what you have completed.
  4. Repeat the Play / Pause operation learn, transcribing or practicing as you go.

  Tapping  Replay starts playing at the start position marker avoiding pause.

  You don’t need to be “transcribing” to find this mode useful.

  • You can easily work your way through any track to learn as you play along.
  • Use for teaching or learning dance choreography.
