We have received a couple reports of Anytune Mac crashing upon clicking on or scrolling through a playlist.
We have not been able to determine the precise reason for this crash, but it appears to be related to a standard preference file that holds table preferences such as column widths, last column selected, ...,
We may have found a work-around to avoid the crash until we can find a better solution.
The work-around requires you to stop Anytrune, move the preference file com.anystonetech.Anytune-Mac.plist
and restart Anytune.
You will loose some table related preferences, but no song data.
First Kill Anytune
In a Terminal window:
mv ~/Library/Containers/com.anystonetech.Anytune-Mac/Data/Library/Preferences/com.anystonetech.Anytune-Mac.plist ~/Desktop
Alternatively:
- In Finder select Menu > Go > Go to Folder...
- Enter or paste the path into the text field
~/Library/Containers/com.anystonetech.Anytune-Mac/Data/Library/Preferences/\ - Click Go
- Drag
com.anystonetech.Anytune-Mac.plist
to the Desktop
Restart Anytune and verify you do not experience the crash.
Sorry for the trouble. We are searching for a better solution.
