Use your students’ phone to learn songs they love. Music teachers of all kinds use Anytune to give students the tools to practice and advance as musicians beyond the lesson.
Anytune (iOS for iPhone/iPad) is a Universal app that you can buy once and download to all your iOS devices using the same Apple ID. Up to a limit imposed by Apple: "You can have ten devices (no more than five computers) associated with your Apple ID for purchases at one time."
Apple School Manager
Anytune is available exclusively through Apple's App Stores.
Anytune is available at a reduced price [Volume Purchase Program (VPP) for Education in the past]
To participate in the program you need to Enrol your institution by applying at school.apple.com.
IMPORTANT - Use a newly created AppleID. Do not use an existing Apple ID.
Apple manages and recommends this program for schools. It includes additional capabilities, and is the only option for making multiple purchases with a single new Apple ID. Apple can help you through this process, by calling Deployment Program Support 800 919.2775 Access Code 83752.
The application process verifies you are a school and creates a special admin account that can make multiple purchases, and allows you to manage multiple users and devices.
MDM Limitations
Apple's School Manager us MDM (Mobile Device Management) which has some limitations.
In-app purchases are not supported by the Apple's School Manager or Managed Devices (MDM).
You will not be able to access Anytune's Remote Control and Export -Tuned or new version of a song Add-ons in Anytune Pro+ (iPhone/iPad) which are currently only available through in-app purchases. These features are included in Anytune Mac which is available through Apple School Manager.
The Anytune Free for Teachers program uses promo codes which linked to to a personal AppleID and cannot be used for MDM devices.
