You can use "Skip Marks" to remove sections of a song without changing the original audio file. You can also create a new (edited) track by exporting the modified version.
On iPhone/iPad:
- Move the playhead to the beginning of the section you want to skip/remove.
- Tap/Click the Add Mark Button to create a mark.
- Double-Tap the mark in the zoomed wave view, or
Tap the Info button in a list view to reveal the marks details. - Choose "Skip Mark" to change this mark to a Skip Mark in the "Select an Audiomark type" section.
- Place a mark at the end of the section you want removed
On Mac:
- Move the playhead to the beginning of the section you want to skip/remove.
- Click the Add Mark Button , type the M key, or Menu > Marks > Add Mark... to create a Mark.
- Right-click the Mark in the wave view and choose Edit.
Click the first selector (Position Mark) and Choose "Skip Mark" to change this mark to a Skip Mark.
OR
Click on themark icon in thelist view and select "Skip Mark".
- Place a mark at the end of the section you want removed
When the playhead reaches the Skip Mark it will skip/jump to the next mark removing this section from the song.
You can place Skip Marks anywhere in the song. Place a Skip Mark at the beginning of the section you want to remove (skip) and a normal Position Mark at the end of the section you want removed.
You can also Export a Tuned Song to create a new version of the track with all the adjustments, including Skip Marks, tempo, pitch, EQ, etc.
The Export Add-On is required on iPhone/iPad. Export is included in Anytune (Mac).
