With AirPlay, you can stream music to your Apple TV, HomePod, or other AirPlay-enabled devices.
Anytune uses your device's current audio system output device.
The AirPlay button is hidden behind the Ad banner on the Free version of Anytune until you at purcahse the Basic Pack.
You will see the AirPlay icon beside the volume slider in the Anytune app when external audio devices are available.
You can also set the output device outside of Anytune.
See How to AirPlay audio: support.apple.com/HT202809
You can select the system audio output for your Mac.
- Open the System Preferences app.
- Choose Sound
- Select the desired device.
You can also select what audio device to use in Anytune.
- Open Anytune > Preferences > Audio Devices
- Choose an Output Device
Note: LiveMix is not supported when using AirPlay. The latency/delay of the input over Bluetooth speakers is too long, which can be very frustrating.
Anytune does not presently support Chromecast.
